DEC Attends 2008 Wood Technology Show
March 12th through 14th, Dickinson Equipment exhibited at the Wood Technology Show at the Oregon Convention Center in Portland, Oregon. Visitors to our booth saw an exciting array of Sullair compressors, including portable units, DEC's own Sullair rotary-screw Duplex package, and Sullair portable compressors as well.
With rising energy costs and tough market conditions, attention at the show focused on energy efficiency and cost reduction. We performed air system analysis live on-site showing attendees how they could save on recurring energy costs. We explained government rebate programs that can pay significant portions of new energy-efficient equipment purchases.
Our booth itself was be a demonstration of the innovative Infinity Piping system: an all-metal quick-connect system which radically reduces installation time and virtually eliminates leaks.
Graco Fluid Handling equipment such as lube, grease & hot-melt systems was represented as well. Graco systems can speed maintenance, control material utilization and improve efficiency. This September, Dickinson Equipment Company sponsored three Sullair technical training seminars in the Pacific Northwest. Presented by Master Trainer Arlie Tucker, seminmars covered common machine & air end problems, basic maintenance issues, and the advantage of Sullair OEM parts. Great catered breakfasts and lunches provided an informal opportunity to ask questions of one of the most experienced Field Service Specialists in the industry. Thank you to Arlie and all of the attendees who helped make this a great event.
